RTA and Commute with Enterprise have partnered to provide vanpool options in Delaware, Dubuque, and Jackson Counties. This partnership supports RTA's commitment to innovative and sustainable shared mobility options for residents and employees who commute into, out of, or within the service area from surrounding counties.
How Does Commute With Enterprise Work?
We connect employees who live near each other and provide them with a recent-model van or SUV. Riders commute together, saving money and freeing up time to relax or catch up on work. It’s an easy way to start and end the day in a better mindset.
Commute With Us To Enjoy These Benefits
- Available for commuters starting or ending in Delaware, Dubuque, and Jackson counties.
- Eligible vanpools can receive up to $500 monthly subsidy per vehicle from RTA.
- Maintenance, insurance and roadside assistance and emergency ride home are included.
- Registered vanpool riders are allowed up to 2 "emergency rides" per calendar year.
- Emergency rides can be booked between 5 AM – 5 PM by contacting RTA dispatch at 563-588-4592 or 1-800-839-5005.
- For emergency rides outside of the hours above, please request service through Uber, Lyft, or a local taxi provider and submit receipt for reimbursement to RTA.
