Quad is a publicly traded marketing experience company based in Sussex, Wisconsin, a village in the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The business provides a full spectrum of marketing solutions to thousands of client companies and well-known brands around the world.
Central to Quad’s values-driven culture is a strong desire to have a positive impact in their communities, and in 2023 the company opened Quad MKE, a recruiting, training and retention hub created to help remove barriers to employment for Milwaukee’s central city community. One of the top barriers in the area is transportation.
Company Challenge
With no reasonable public transit options available, Quad’s employees living in central city and without vehicles of their own couldn’t reliably get to work at the company’s plant locations over 15 miles away.
Solution:
Determined to find “a better way” – a value instilled by the company’s founder more than 50 years ago – Quad partnered with Commute with Enterprise to launch a vanpooling program its employees could count on to help them get to and from work.
